Secondary Double glazing

Hi everyone,
We are looking at retrofitting double or secondary glazing into our aluminium frames. Has anyone had experience with Insulglaze? We have problems with cold as we have a lot of glass and also condensation however we also get heat in the late afternoon in summer. The acrylic appears to have advantages with all of these over standard double glazing. However, I do have concerns about the Insulglaze not being a fully sealed unit and getting condensation build up between the panes. Also the quote we have for Insulglaze is actually slightly dearer than retrofitting double-glazed windows which are a fully sealed unit with low-e glass and argon gas.
