We have both and they both seem to LOVE those kilojoules! We want to know which to use under which circumstances to keep costs and energy use down. Any hits or knowledge welcome.

A heater in a ventilation system? Why heat 5 degrees of cold air to introduce to a house that has dropped to say 16 overnight? Why not just heat the 16 degrees of air?

Those companies that sell heaters have to do so as they are not smart enough to reduce the flow at night. Some run at 50% of full flow (which is way below what some companies maximum flow is and way above those saem companies minimum nightime flows) to keep condensation from forming but if you don’t have a vent in your bedroom you need to keep your door open.

Find a system that does at least 3-4 airchanges an hour when the roof is warmer so that is doesn’t need to work as high as those stupid systems that promote heaters (which do about 1 airchange an hour at maximum if your lucky)
