Consumer NZ provides independent testing and information about consumer products in New Zealand. Visit them for a range of reports related to home energy use. Also see their useful fuel price table. Its regularly updated and compares heating costs for different appliance and fuel types. You might also want to check out Consumer Build for advice on “buying, building and renovating homes”
Eco Design Advisors
Eco Design Advisors work for local councils around the country. They provide free, independent advice to renovators and builders about creating a sustainable home.
